365 Project, Week Three - Monochrome

January 21, 2015  •  2 Comments

I've made it through week three of my 365 Project! This is probably the longest I've stuck with a  New Year's Resolution, by the way.

This week's theme was Monochrome. Because I love bright colors and capturing them in my images, I've never been a fan of taking monochrome photos, but my 365 Project is about challenging myself in styles of photography that I don't typically use. I did do a bit of research and study other photographers work to get some inspiration, so this has definitely been more work than the first two weeks of my project. I'm pretty pleased with the images I created, though, and I had a lot of fun taking them.

Without further ado, here are my monochrome pictures. To see more of my pictures from my 365 Project, click here, and of course, come back next Wednesday for week four of my 365 Project!

By the way, if you've been to the home page, you may have noticed a different name. That's because over the next couple of months, I'm planning on officially changing Forever Moments by Alicia to simply Alicia Jeanne Photography, and I'm super excited for this rebranding! Stay tuned!

Thanks, Nicole! It's been really great, so far, and I already feel like I'm learning a lot.
