I always love creating images that capture motion. They are one of my favorite ways of photographing subjects, so you can understand my excitement when it was announced that Motion was August's theme challenge for the blog circle I participate in.
Unfortunately, my family suffered another loss this summer: My grandfather passed away 3 weeks ago, so my husband and I spent a week back home in Dallas with my family to remember him. On top of that, I'm going back to school this week to pursue my associate's degree in graphic design, and begin the quest for my bachelor's degree. Needless to say... this month has gotten away from me.
But I still wanted to participate in this month's theme! So these are some older images (some from my early NYIP days) from an on-going personal project I like to call "Disneyland in Motion."
Enjoy!... And when you've finished here, go check out Okinawa Family Photographer, Kristi James Photography blog and see how she uses motion in her fabulous photography.

Mad Tea Party! One of my favorite photos I've ever taken. It was the first photo I had on exhibit at the San Diego County Fair in 2012.
