I met Robin & LaCreelin 9 days before their wedding. They needed to find a photographer for their August wedding, stat, and I was more than happy to oblige. I felt an instant connection with them, mostly because they were both so chill and we all spent our quick swapping photo ideas for their big day. LaCreelin was a woman with a vision and just the type of bride I like to work with. Robin just had one request: a photo(s) of their names which are both tattooed on each others arms.
I had never shot a couple with so many tattoos, and being an ink lover myself, I was excited. There are some brides and grooms who like to conceal their ink for their wedding portraits for various reasons, but I feel that tattoos are a part of a person and her identity, even on her wedding day.
I have to give a big kudos to this awesome Maid of Honor for helping LaCreelin out with her 12 foot long veil during the ceremony and portraits.
The day had been fairly overcast, but I'm glad it was able to clear up just a little bit to get a few sunset shots.
A huge thank you to Robin & LaCreelin for allowing me to be a part of their big day. I had such a fun time capturing these great moments between you two, and I wish you nothing but love and happiness!
